Live Filmmaker Q&A with Chuck Henson

Google-plus-hangouts2Madison Scouts’ alumnus, Chuck Henson will be moderating a LIVE Q&A session with the “Scouts Honor” filmmakers at Noon (CST) on Sunday, December 15th for a “Hangout On Air” on Google+ & YouTube. If you have never heard of a “Hangout On Air,” it is essentially like a live video broadcast that will include the two directors of the documentary Mac Smith and Tom Tollefsen, as well as co-producer John “JT” Torrijos. JT is the one responsible for the incredible 5.1 sound recordings of the live drum corps performances in the movie.

ChuckHensonChuck Henson, who is also known as the voice of “Bands of America”, will be talking to the filmmakers about the movie, and the plans for the release of the film. Chuck saw the “rough cut” of the documentary at the Madison Scouts’ 75th Anniversary event this past September. Plus this is your chance to get your questions asked about anything related to the documentary.

You’ll be able to watch this broadcast “live” on our YouTube channel.

We encourage you to post questions ahead of time on the event page?on Facebook or to our Twitter handle @ScoutsHonorDoc with the hashtag #IndieFilmQA. You can also post questions directly to the comments on the video, right on YouTube while it’s happening.

RSVP on our Facebook Event Page to let us know if you are going to watch, and feel free to invite your friends to watch and participate in the Q&A session.

If you aren’t available to watch it live, don’t worry…shortly after we finish the “Hangout”, the video will be posted on the “Gigantic Cranium” YouTube channel.
